Our Conference Theme: Faith That Sees Through the Culture (Understanding Biblical Dualities That Help the Christian’s Confidence to Live in Faith while Living in the Culture)

Most Christians are familiar with basic biblical concepts like “world,” “kingdom,” “creation,” etc, but many believers are confused about them because they are not necessarily aware that such concepts have two, distinct aspects or two sides of the same coin. For example, there is only one saving gospel, but the gospel is both inclusive and exclusive at the same time. When Christians are not familiar with both sides, then they are less confident in their faith and more apt to be confused. Thus, our goal at this conference themed Faith That Sees Through the Culture will present these both-and sides of major biblical teachings. This is what we mean by dualities: there are two sides/dual aspects of these major teachings. When these are known, then we see more clearly through the lens of faith as we walk by faith and not by sight in our very challenging culture today.

The Sessions:

Session 1: Biblical Dualities for a Strong Foundation (Rev. Espinoza)

Session 2: Biblical Dualities for What is Real, Who We Are, and To Whom We Speak (Rev. Espinoza)

Session 3: Biblical Dualities for Where We Are, When We Are, and What We Say (Rev. Espinoza)

Session 4: Biblical Dualities for the Way of the Fool and the Way of the Wise (Rev. Packer)
