A man who saw clearly the signs of his times, and brings the clarity of the Word of God to bear against the false pretentiousness and false philosophies of man raised up against the knowledge of God (2 Cor. 10:5). Every thought must be taken captive to the obedience of Christ, especially those that twist and distort Christ and His Word to their own purposes. Walther perceptively sees through the attempt to do this. Kudos for digging these lectures up.
