Like Issues Etc? Help the Schwarz family – donate to the Justin Fund.

HelpI received the following from Pastor Ben Ball, a faithful voice in the Missouri Synod.

Justin Schwarz, eldest child of Jeff and Beth Schwarz, has Moyamoya disease and the family is on the way to Boston now where Justin will have brain surgery at Children’s Hospital. Surgery is scheduled for July 8. Many of you know Jeff as the producer of Issues, Etc. Following surgery, Justin will be in the ICU for several days and after discharge will remain in Boston for at least a week to follow up. The family can use your financial support for travel, hotel, food and other expenses. St. Paul Lutheran Church, Hamel, IL has established the Justin Fund to assist the Schwarz family. Simply write a check to St. Paul Lutheran Church with “Justin Fund” on the note and all the funds will go to the family. Send to St. Paul Lutheran Church PO Box 247 Hamel, IL 62046 and pray to Our Father for Justin’s health and strength

If you are on facebook, please go to and like and share the above announcement that you will see there.

  1. When a child had to go to the West Coast for a serious surgery, Ronald McDonald House was a comfortable and economical place for the family to stay till the child was discharged from hospital.
That still leaves a week or more of expensive living during the follow-up visits, and many other expenses!

“…do good to all men, especially those of the household of faith!”

We never know when we’ll need one ourselves.
