Prayers for Christ’s Blessing on the LCMS Convention

For the next few weeks, up to and through the LCMS convention, every few days we will be posting a prayer for blessing on the LCMS convention. Some will be from the archives of the LCMS worship webpage “Let us pray” and others will written specially for BJS.

Lord of the Church, abide with all leaders and delegates of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod as they prepare for the convention this July. Guide them as they deliberate important matters for our church. May our crucified and resurrected Lord be at the center of all convention preparations; through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Prayers for Christ’s Blessing on the LCMS Convention — 2 Comments

  1. Beautiful reminder.
I will…. however, add: Thank you Heavenly Father for hearing my prayer & Thy will, alone not mine nor any other, but Thine, be done.
I always thank our Heavenly Father for hearing my prayer, it is what I was taught to do. As far as His Will alone, being done…that is something we are all taught, to say, pray, and want. His Judgement, His Will, and His Decision, are always best (not always understood).
Thank BJS for the reminder, life, time & tide, to take it’s toll, and those attending this convention, need our most heartfelt & fervent prayer.
    Thanks bunches.

  2. I really would like to see the Prayer up on top instead of lost down at the bottom with the spent topics…..
