The sixth in a series on the Small Catechism, “Given and Shed for You” is a Lenten Devotion on the Lord’s Supper. For each of the Days of Lent and the Sundays in Lent there are lessons from Scripture on the subject of the Sacrament of the Altar. The goal of this devotion is to increase knowledge about Holy Communion, faithfulness to our Lord’s Words, and increased desire to seek out the medicine of immortality that is the Lord Jesus Christ’s body and blood.
