The sermons of George Stoeckhard, based on the Gospel readings of the Historic Lectionary, stand out for their clarity, their structure, and their evangelical focus. Originally published posthumously in 1914 as Gnade Um Gnade, they were painstakingly translated by Erwin Koehlinger, and published in English by Concordia Theological Seminary Press. That edition was plain photocopy of the typewritten manuscript. This edition is newly reformatted, and will make a necessary addition to a pastor’s theology library, and a handsome addition to any library.
