REGISTRATION: The cost for the conference is $95/person or $123 with spouse, which includes the banquet on Tuesday night. Please register here before May 30, 2020 to ensure your banquet ticket.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS: We have acquired a special rate for all
conference attendees at Holiday Inn & Suites, 7400 Hudson Road (6
miles from Our Redeemer). The rate is $105 per day, plus tax (single or
double occupancy, two Queens or one King and sofa) for reservations made
before May 11, 2020. This also includes a free breakfast voucher. To
reserve a room, call 319-260-2600 and ask for the ACELC Conference
special rate. You can find a list of other hotels on our website. Rates vary from $95-$169.
OTHER HIGHLIGHTS: The choir of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church will
join with us to sing Vespers on Tuesday night before the banquet. On
Wednesday night, Seminarian Nathan J. Willie (Vicar, Our Redeemer
Lutheran Church and accomplished organist) will lead us in a Hymn
Festival, featuring hymnody composed by Lutheran pastors representing
various periods in Lutheran history. After the Hymn Festival you are
invited to join us for Gemutlichkeit!
Again, please join us for what looks to be a great conference dealing
with a very important topic for The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.

The list of speakers and topics alone shows how important this conference will be for pastors and laymen alike. I’m really not sure how clearly proper ecclesiastical supervision is being taught synodwide. And, I know I’d have a lot of my own questions answered and clarification needs met at t at this conference.
