About the Congress

“A Congress on the Lutheran Confessions” is presented by The Association of Confessional Lutherans – National Free Conference No. 30 and The Luther Academy – Lecture Series No. 26.

The Association and The Academy are organizations made up of Confessional Lutherans seeking to have a positive theological effect upon Lutheranism.

The Chairman of The Association of Confessional Lutherans is Rev. James Anthony. The Congress Program Director is Rev. John Fehrmann. The Executive Director of The Luther Academy is Rev. Dr. Robert Bennett; and the Luther Academy North America Fellow is Rev. Mark Preus.

Location: The Congress will be held at the Crowne Plaza Aire in Bloomington, Minnesota: May 8 – 10, 2019.

The “Crowne Plaza Aire MSP Airport Mall of America” (3 Appletree Square, Bloomington; www.crowneplazaaire.com/location.php) is located just to the East of the Mall of America (MOA) in Bloomington, Minnesota, a southern suburb of Minneapolis, and is mere minutes South of the Mpls./St. Paul International Airport. From the North: I-35W South to I-494 East; to 34th Ave. Exit 1b.  Turn right on 34th Ave., one block to American Blvd., turn left.  Hotel entrance on right.

From the South:  I-35W North to I-494 East; to 34th Ave. Exit 1b.  Turn right on 34th Ave., one block to American Blvd. and turn left.  Hotel entrance on right.
