TECHNICAL NOTE: New Host is now up and Running Fast!

Thanks in large part to some people behind the scenes who gave up much of their weekend, we have moved the Steadfast Lutherans blog to a new host.

So far the site runs much faster; we have hopes that this will continue and that we will no longer experience down times several times a day.

Please respond here or contact me if you have any questions or comments.

About Norm Fisher

Norm was raised in the UCC in Connecticut, and like many fell away from the church after high school. With this background he saw it primarily as a service organization. On the miracle of his first child he came back to the church. On moving to Texas a few years later he found a home in Lutheranism when he was invited to a confessional church a half-hour away by our new neighbors.

He is one of those people who found a like mind in computers while in Middle School and has been programming ever since. He's responsible for many websites, including the Book of Concord, LCMSsermons.com, and several other sites.

He has served the church in various positions, including financial secretary, sunday school teacher, elder, PTF board member, and choir member.

More of his work can be found at KNFA.net.

  1. Wow! The BJS site is part of my daily reading. I really appreciate how quickly pages are found and loaded now.

Thank you and please extend my thanks to “some people behind the scenes who gave up much of their weekend” for their contributions.

  2. Dear Norm,

Thanks for the Herculean job of transferring hosts in mid-stream. You do a great job, in every way! Blessings to you and yours in this season of Advent and Christmas!

Yours in Christ, Martin R. Noland

  3. It’s been running reliably for two days now .. but we are finding some parts of the site either generate an error page when you click on them, or don’t do what it was intended.

Please — if you notice any problems or funny happenings anywhere on the site I’d really appreciate hearing about it!
