Examples of different styles without changing substance.

At the 2014 LCMS Institute on Liturgy, Preaching, and Church Music Dr. Richard Stuckwisch did workshops on the responsible use of freedom in worship (twice), a sacramentally-shaped life (twice), and the LSB one-year and three-year lectionaries (once).

Thanks, Brian. It’s as I suspected. I hope that these lectures will be available in mp-3 format soon. These are extremely important subjects, and Pr. Stuckwisch covered them very well. The concept of the Sacramental Life flies in the face of The Purpose-Driven Life, and other such bogosities. I heard recently of a pastor who will be doing a series on “The Jesus Creed.” It’s nothing but God-talk, works, and mushy spirituality. Should be called “The Jesus Deeds,” as it is all about works, and barely a mention of the Gospel. “The Sacramental Life” is the perfect answer to such utter abominations.

    OK…End of Rant.
