Let us pray
Shepherd of the Church, who cares for us according to our need, send out your enlightening Spirit upon our synod as we gather in convention, that we may faithfully perform the work You have given us to do, sending pastors into the field to care for Your flock, equiping the saints, and proclaiming the Good News of salvation to all the earth, for You live and reign with the Father and the same Spirit, ever one God, world without end. Amen.
