President Kieschnick, Sem Presidents and Others Put Out Statement to Quiet Fears about Seminaries Being Closed — 3 Comments

  1. At the Ohio District convention it was Synod’s Vice President Dean Nasady who said that both seminaries should be closed. Wonder if he (Nasady) has gotten the memo this time.

  2. “As the majority of the participants at the recent Pastoral Ministry Summit concluded, the two LCMS seminaries should continue to serve as the hubs for theological education in the LCMS.”

    Hubs?

Hub– A point where many routes meet and traffic is distributed, dispensed or diverted.

There is so little Lutheran language to be found in the explanations we get anymore.

Does this mean we should start calling our sem presidents hubcaps?
