Furthermore, statements from the Synod last week specifically said that the proceeds from the sale had not yet been allocated. Many informed MoSyns – including the conservative hardliners at The Brothers of John the Steadfast, who like to refer to the LCMS as “Synod, Inc.” – say they assume it will go into general funds, to plug various spending holes, rather than to evangelization.
So my question is, “how many ticks is that worth on the Ablaze evangelism counter?”
