Happy One Year Anniversary Issues, Etc.

Issues, Etc. is celebrating their one year anniversary of being back on the radio. The Brothers of John the Steadfast congratulate Todd and Jeff and give thanks to God for this Christ-centered and cross-focused radio program.

Issues is hosting a celebration at the radio station this afternoon in Collinsville, Illinois. Cantor Phillip Magness and his wife Cheryl will be representing BJS at the party and we hope they will bring back some photographs of the party that we can post here on the site. Phillip is a regular columnist for BJS and Cheryl is the technical editor of the BJS Quarterly.

About Pastor Tim Rossow

Rev. Dr. Timothy Rossow is the Director of Development for Lutherans in Africa. He served Bethany Lutheran Church in Naperville, IL as the Sr. Pastor for 22 years (1994-2016) and was Sr. Pastor of Emmanuel Lutheran in Dearborn, MI prior to that. He is the founder of Brothers of John the Steadfast but handed off the Sr. Editor position to Rev. Joshua Scheer in 2015. He currently resides in Ocean Shores WA with his wife Phyllis. He regularly teaches in Africa. He also paints watercolors, reads philosophy and golfs. He is currently represented in two art galleries in the Pacific Northwest. His M Div is from Concordia, St. Louis and he has an MA in philosophy from St. Louis University and a D Min from Concordia, Fort Wayne.

  1. It was great seeing so many people show up to celebrate the anniversary… to put a face to so many of the voices I hear on IE. (Isn’t it strange how we create a picture in our minds of what the faces of the people on the radio should look like, then how strange it is to hear that voice coming out of a face that looks so completely different!)

    Here’s to many more years of solid witnessing over the airwaves!
