BJS Newsreel: Quad Cities Steadfast Group has its Fourth Meeting

(From the BJS Newsreel)

Pastor Gary Wright called me yesterday to request BJS materials for the Central Illinois District pastors conference. When I asked him how the Quad Cities Chapter was going he informed me that they have already had four meetings.

We reported back in July that they had formed a John the Steadfast chapter consisting of members from around the quad cities area (Davenport, Ia; Bettendorf, Ia;  Moline, Il; Rock Island Il). They meet on Saturday mornings at area restaurants for a study of the Lutheran Confessions.

Pastor Wright  has created an engaging DVD highlighting the work of BJS. It is in the final stages of editing and will be shown at the BJS booth at the CID convention and will be available here on the website once it is completed. Pator Wright is the BJS Regional Director in the Eastern Iowa/Western Illinois area and has been working on sarting up additional chapters in that region.

To start your own chapter check out the Organization page on this website and request a chapter start-up kit by sending me an e-mail at [email protected].
