Description:To Pastors and Lay Leaders,

Are you concerned about the proper view of the pastoral office within your congregation? Are you seeking to see a healthy relationship among pastors and church leaders, elders, deacons and the congregations? Then our Elders Retreat at Concordia University, St Paul, MN on January 25 & 26, 2013 is for you. In today's troubling society, many congregations are in desperate need of lay leadership training based on the Word of God.

Our guest presenter, the Rev Peter Bender, is Director of Concordia Catechetical Academy and Pastor of Peace Lutheran Church, Sussex, WI. Rev Bender has many years experience as a parish pastor and has done extensive lecturing in the area of Lutheran catechesis.

The Elders Retreat, which is held every two to three years, continues to grow with participants from Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.

The registration fee is $35.00 per person until January 10, 2013 and $45.00 thereafter.
