Small Catechism Poster soon to be available

I found this on facebook, a link to a “Kickstarter” campaign to raise funds for a large poster of the Small Catechism useful for families or schools.

These posters use the Triglotta translation (as posted on Book of Concord website). My understanding is that Brandon Hanson, the designer of the posters, asked CPH for permission to use the translation that’s in the 1984 edition that most of our children have in their hands, but was told “the rights requested are not available.”

Below is more information on the poster; there are various levels of support, from simple donations to the right to produce smaller copies of the posters to purchasing one or more of the posters.

This appears to be a very valuable teaching tool for both our young and a reminder for us all as Brandon states in his kickstarter pages; like the pewcards as originally written by Pastor Rossow of Bethany in Naperville.

In the last couple of months, a father set out to find a nice set of catechism posters to help his family learn the Small Catechism. Upon finding nothing of great quality that would work exactly like what he had in mind, he designed his own set of 24”x36” posters with large, readable font, and a nice aesthetic appeal overall. A Kickstarter project to fund the printing of these posters is well underway now. To learn more about the posters you can visit the kickstarter website. There are a number of additional posters currently in the design process, which Christians and Lutherans will enjoy and find useful. These will be made available in the coming months.
