We at BJS apologize to our readers for the non-functioning website for the past few days.

No posts could be written, nor could any comments be added to the site for this time.

I spent the last day looking through the code to try to figure out what I changed that caused the problem. But the problem finally turned out to be the database size — the hosting package has a limit of 100M for the database size. A recent change to the spam filter software appears to have pushed the usage way over that limit. Now I know what happens when the database exceeds the maximum allowed size.

It’s either still non-functioning, or the regulars are busy elsewhere: perhaps Fort Wayne?
