I am psyched! This will be a good time indeed. For those of you who can make it, I will see you there.

Rev. M. Dent :
One Question: I can’t make it to MN – much less all over the country to the various (GREAT) conferences going on… So, i wonder, how much would need to be raised to have it simulcast on PCR (or at least have .mp3 files available somewhere for d/l)?

CDs of past conferences are made available through the website. I can't speak for the ACL, but...I think the only way it's likely that the content would end up simulcast or downloadable is if someone endowed the congress. As has been seen with the Ft. Wayne symposia, when audio is made available for free there is a great danger that the audience may not find all the speakers as compelling as the organizer does, and attendance will sink. While Ft. Wayne can simply move a smaller crowd back to a smaller hall, a conference at a hotel is in deep trouble if they don't book enough rooms (i.e., if not enough rooms are booked, fees for the meeting area, etc., are usually higher).

The CDs cost $40 per year ($4/CD) when ordered as a set. Perhaps if a couple dozen of you told the ACL that you would like to underwrite their potential audience loss/CD loss, they'd look into simulcasting or making the files available for download. (No promise; again, I can't speak for them; this is just an idea.) Head to their website and use their contact form and let them know of your interest.

What a great lineup of speakers and topics that will be taught! Lutherans need to be made aware of the errors of the American fundamentalist semi-Pelagian teaching that is rampant all over our country.
