Mountain West Young Adult Retreat – The Herring Barrel for Lutherans

Editor’s Note:  This is a last minute opportunity for folks to come!  It’s called “Herring Barrel” after the story that Katie von Bora was smuggled out of her convent in an empty herring barrel.  To find a godly spouse is one of the greatest gifts in this life.  Please consider coming to be a part of this event.  To download an informational sheet about this click here.

  1. There are a couple of Lutheran Singles groups on Facebook. One is geared towards Confessional Lutherans the other has a mixture, LCMS and friends. Both groups are adults of all ages.

I would like to see something like this for adults of ALL ages. And maybe in connection with another conference to really reach a broad audience and help all Confessional LCMSers!

    Dear Nancy,

Believe me, it’s already on our minds. This is just the beginning. I am a campus pastor, and this where I need to begin. Please spread this event to those groups and get back to me with suggestions for something you have in mind. My email is [email protected]
