Lenten Bible Studies in the Penitential Psalms, from Around the Word

Beautiful for the Lenten season, Around the Word Bible Studies offers a series of excellent studies on The Seven Penitential Psalms. These Psalms (6, 32, 38, 51, 102, 130, 143) teach us the Biblical doctrine of repentance, sorrow over our sin, and the sure and certain hope of the forgiveness of all of our sins.ATW Penitential Psalms Studies

The first study on Psalm 6 is available now. Written by Rev. Eric Andersen, it includes an outline of the Psalm, comments on the Psalm by St. Augustine, a verse-by-verse, pointed text of the Psalm, questions about the text for meditation, running commentary, and a summary of the Psalm.

You get all this on two pages in a graphically appealing format.

Each study is intended to lead you deeper into the Scriptures to understand the truth and comfort the Lord has for us there. These are so good, you may well want to keep them in a binder or folder for use again beyond this year’s Lenten season.

For convenience, you can sign up on the page linked below to receive these Bible Studies weekly via email, or if you choose, you can simply visit the website each week.
