Concord Matters — Today at 2 PM CST on KFUO

ConcordMattersw260Check it out tomorrow on KFUO radio (listen streaming, or use their app if you have a phone or tablet, it works great) I will be hosting a show along with Pastors Chris Hull and Mark Preus as we discuss the Preface to the Book of Concord (paragraph 16 onward).  We continue to go through the Preface paragraph by paragraph talking about the history but mainly the theology of these Confessors of the Faith which we believe.

Originally the program was supposed to be broadcast live on Saturday, but we had some technical difficulties.  Last month I hinted that my guests would include Pastors Fisk and Wolfmueller as well, but this week being rather busy (especially for pastors trying to get ahead to take a day or so off) they could not be a part of the show that will broadcast today.  I will have them hopefully on as guests in the near future.

In the comments section below, please feel free to leave feedback about the Concord Matters program, as the Brothers of John the Steadfast are underwriting the program for KFUO.  We want to know what you think of it.

  1. I thought you did a very good job hosting and moving the conversation forward on that episode, Pr. H.

I don’t know your history, but would I be right to assume you’ve had prior training or experience with radio?

Thank you, Marc. I’ve been a radio listener all my life. I’ve been a radio guest dozens and dozens of times (Issues, Etc. and a bunch of KFUO shows). And I’ve even been a radio guest host (Issues, Etc.) a few times back in the day.

  3. I really enjoy the program and love how you all take the time to explain the history. I’m following along with you and I’ve just started the reading plan.

Thank you. I know when I host the program, I want to be sure to cover three things:

    The history
    The theology
    Contemporary applications
