Thanks to Our Associate Editor and Our Newest Authors BJS Approached Two Million Page Loads in A. D. 2012, by Pr. Rossow

Thank you all of our readers, those who agree with our editorial approach and those who don’t, for the continued success of the BJS Blog.  Thanks to you we had 1,751,718 page loads in the year of our Lord 2012. Since our inception in 2008 we have had over 6 million page loads.

Most of the thanks goes to Associate Editor, Pastor Joshua Scheer and the dozens of new writers he recruited this year. At our board meeting last February we made a conscious effort to make BJS more about theology than political critique and it has been effective for growth in readership. We are still committed to providing critique of synod politics but that has intentionally become less of a focus.

Another big thank you to Norm Fisher who provides all of the technical support for this and many other sites. He is our tech guru and his work often goes unnoticed. Thank you Norm.

We still have some left-over new initiatives from last year’s goals that we plan on accomplishing. The board will review those this February at our annual conference and most likely set some new goals as well. We hope you will join us for the conference and most importantly we hope you will continue to read the blog and pass on our address to your friends and relatives so that they too can encounter “the go to place for Lutheran news, commentary and theology.”
