BJS Newsreel – Rev. Jonathan Fisk of Worldview Everlasting to Preach at BJS Conference Divine Service

We are happy to announce that Rev. Jonathan Fisk will be preaching at the BJS Conference Divine Service on Saturday, February 12. Rev. Fisk is a frequent commenter on the BJS blogs. His popular web-videos on his Worldview Everlasting site are a great example of BJS’s primary goal of promoting new Lutheran media. The conference is February 11 – 12 in the Chicago suburb of Naperville, Illinois.

Speaking of the Divine Service, the worship at the annual conference is always one of the highlights. Cantor Phillip Magness and the Bethany Lutheran music department provide a rich variety of traditional and authentic Lutheran worship. The conference includes a vespers service on Friday night (following the banquet) and the Divine Service to wrap things up on Saturday afternoon.

For the full conference details, schedule and registration click here. We are already running ahead of our registration numbers from past years and are seeing lots of new names signed up. The banquet on Friday night will be limited to the first 350 registrants. For those living in the Chicago-land area there is an option to join us for just the Friday night banquet and vespers service. The banquet speaker is our newly elected LCMS president Matthew Harrison.
